Faith, Hope Charity Ministries International
was founded in 2005. We are a not-for-profit

religious organization that exists to teach and preach the unadulterated Word of God without any form of compromise for the truth. Our purpose is to educate, empower, and instill value and self

worth through the gospel message of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to help people become acquainted with Godly and Biblical principles, to live productive and healthy lives and to create positive changes in their homes, communities and nations. Our vision is to reach both adults and young people, especially those disenfranchised by crime, illiteracy, poverty, social inequities, and deprivation of spiritual knowledge.

Minister Donald L. Johnson, President & Founder:

Minister Johnson, a teacher, preacher, theologian, writer, psalmist, spiritual father, community developer, and law enforcer is a lover of Almighty God! He was introduced to his journey with the Lord when he was 4 years old by his grandfather, the late Deacon G.W. Penn, a reverent and devoted man of God. Never missing a church service, Johnson remembers the first time he heard and saw the pastor preaching. "I can't begin to tell  you what the late Rev. Rinico Nelson was preaching

that first Sunday, but I vividly recall being mesmerized by the pulpit and his face....He looked like an angel."

Minister Johnson, trained in the Baptist tradition, became involved in church activities such as the choir and usher boards early in his life. It led to him being viewed as a junior church leader and He was one of the first youths to be appointed a Junior Trustee. His youth leader, Mr. Willie Rennick states, "There was never a more productive time of youth ministry in our church than when Donald Johnson and some others his age were in the church." Surely, Min. Johnson was made for the church and the church was made for him. He stayed active in the church until he was 16 or 17. However, during his teenage years, his life took a drastic turn.

Having experimented with homosexuality since he was about 9 years old, Johnson decided to choose it as a lifestyle. The choice was a bad one. With it came 21 years of drug addiction and alcoholism; incarceration; several involuntary attempts at suicide; 3 psychiatric hospitalizations and many physically and emotionally abusive relationships. At one point his life went from bad to worse. Minister Johnson testifies that he always prayed and remembered some of the things he learned as a youngster growing up in the church.

One day, his mother said to him, "Donald, your problem is not psychiatric. It's spiritual." That day, although she had said it so many times, the words rang in his ears. As a result, he decided to attend a deliverance service at the church where his mother was a member. Minister Johnson
says, "I didn't know what to expect. I was afraid that the evil spirits (demons) in me: homosexuality, pornography, masturbation, alcoholism, drugs, prescription medications, rejection, abandonment, suicide and others would overtake me in the service. I was afraid of being embarrassed. However, glory to God, he found out that God is not the author of confusion but of peace as in all the churches of the saints." (1 Corinthians 14:33).

He says, "When I saw my former pastor, Bishop Roy Bryant, Sr, D.D. of the Bible Church of Christ, Incorporated, teaching so earnestly and praying fervently, I knew that God's power was present to heal, deliver and set people free." Minister Johnson boldly stepped onto the prayer line. In doing so, he received both prayer and the Holy Ghost, miraculously. He says that was the day when Jesus made a miracle out of a mess.

Today, after serving in the local church for 16 years where he received deliverance and ordination into the five fold ministry, Minister Johnson teaches and preaches the word of God extensively. He exercises the gifts of healing, prophesy, deliverance, mercy, wisdom and the word of knowledge. Many have come to the saving knowledge of the truth, accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and then filled with the
 Holy Spirit.

Min. Johnson's testimony is included with 22 others in the book, Closing The Closet, edited by Pastor Talbert Swan. He is also featured on the CD Project Maine by the African Gospel Rhythm's 2005.

Johnson has earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration, and is presently pursuing a seminary doctorate degree in Religious Studies emphasizing in pastoral ministry and expository preaching.

Minister Ann Dunston, Technical Director, Faith Hope Charity Television Program:

"Oh magnify the Lord with me, let us exalt His name together." - (Psalms 34:3)

I have been saved and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost for 28 years. I've been healed, delivered and set free from mental depression and illicit drug use. I have learned that God will help one rise above any and all problems. I often recall the following scripture to mind, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles, they run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31). God is faithful to His word and His word is true.

Before becoming a full time musician, I sang with various church choirs and served as a missionary and pastor's aide. I have adopted as my motto, "Therefore, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord for as much as ye know that you labor is not in vain in the Lord." (1 Corinithians 15:58).

I have also been a part of the Faith, Hope, Charity Outreach and Prison Ministry and enjoyed encouraging the inmates. As the technical director of the television program, I am excited about the positive impact it is having on the community. We are expecting God to use us mightily in winning souls for His kingdom.

Minister Dunston is the Minister of Music at the Bible Church of Christ, Incorporated in Mount Vernon, N.Y. where Bishop Roy Bryant, Senior, D.D. is the pastor.

Sister Beverly Lee, M.S., Ed., Assistant:

"I felt led by the Lord to return home to fulfill my life's purpose and passion of ministering to foster children and their families. I was a foster mother for 13 years and fostered more than 25 children. Recently, I've adopted 2 sons. I know that nothing is too hard for God. When he calls a child  to a task, he also equips him or her for the assignment. Currently, aside from assisting with Faith, Hope, Charity Ministries, I have the challenging job of finding foster homes for teenagers placed in residential treatment centers.

These children often have been abused and neglected. Their trauma has led to negative behaviors and they are often perceived as "throw aways" of society. I'm baffled because many even in the Christian community are hesitant about stepping up to the task of fostering, helping and nurturing these children who need it so much.

My personal appeal to my fellow Christians is that we get out of our comfort zone and find ways to serve the Lord. Each day we are reminded of the many needs in our families, communities and the world. No matter how small the task may be, it is a necessary one for the building up of the Kingdom of God. II Thessalonians 3:2 says, "But ye brethren, be not weary in well doing." Also, Matthew 20:28 reminds us that Christ came to the earth not to be served, but to serve.

If we are serious about serving the Lord we need to prayerfully ask him to reveal His purpose for our lives. The answer will come. You will know it when you have a burning passion to do something and make a difference in other people's lives. "But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them....The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few; pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest" (Matthew 9:36-38).

Deaconess Lee has earned a Master's degree in Special Education. She taught children with various developmental disabilities for 5 years. Having worked with emotionally handicapped children in Pinellas County, Florida for 2 years, she is now the Recruitment Coordinator for the North American Family Institute.

What we believe:

We believe the Bible to be the divinely inspired, inerrant Word of God.

We believe that all scripture is given by inspiration of God and that it is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction that the man of God may be perfect thoroughly furnished unto all good works (II Timothy 3:16, 17).

We believe in the Old Testament and that the Law was a foreshadow of good things to come (Hebrews 10:1).

We believe in the New Testament and that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God. That He was born of a virgin, conceived of the Holy Ghost; and that He lived a sinless life.

We believe in the doctrine of original sin originating with Satan, entering the world through Adam and that redemption can only be obtained through the atonement and shed blood of Jesus Christ.

We believe that Jesus Christ was brought before the Jewish Sanhedrin Council, condemned to death and crucified under the Roman authority governed by Pontius Pilate.

We believe that Jesus was buried, and that He was resurrected from the dead.

We believe that regeneration (the indwelling and infilling of the Holy Spirit) is essential for salvation and the new birth.

We believe in the Second Advent of Christ; and that the church will be raptured at His coming.

We believe in a final judgment and that anyone's name not found in the book of life will be eternally separated from God and cast into the lake of fire.
(Revelations 20:11-15)
